______________
The collaboration between Unique Community, WeRestart, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra has truly been a transformative experience. The weekly sessions provided a safe and nurturing environment for asylum seekers to explore their creativity and express themselves through the performing arts.
During the January showcase, the culmination of their hard work and imagination was on full display, with families and community members coming together to witness the magic that had unfolded. The connection fostered through music, dance, and storytelling lifted spirits and united diverse voices. It was not just a performance; it was a celebration of resilience, culture, and community.
The joy and laughter that filled the space highlighted the power of the arts to bridge gaps and bring people together, creating a sense of belonging and shared experience. The event was a testament to the importance of creativity in healing and connecting individuals from different backgrounds. It left a lasting impact on all participants, proving that art has the ability to transform lives and foster community spirit.

"This project has made me feel like I’m found myself, I have lots of emotion but I don’t know now I can relate it and it makes me so happy, confident, creative. I want to join always here as a group member - a big thank you for all and good wishes for all of you!”
