Welcome to Still Here. We're deeply grateful to share this evening with you.
Tonight, you'll journey to the waiting rooms of Ukraine and Iran – spaces for the displaced.
We invite you to travel alongside Max, a compassionate heart striving to understand our world more fully. He wants to help, but tonight the weight of it all might feel overwhelming.
As you watch, ask yourself: Have you ever felt like Max? Overwhelmed by the world's challenges, searching for a way to make a difference?
Let's find strength together to keep moving forward, even when the path seems unclear or hopeless.
Because we can all be a little bit Max sometimes.
“I think sometimes it can feel that here in our safe world it will never be that bad or that it could never happen to us. But it can. Freedom is a precious and fragile thing. And unless we keep an eye on it - we will lose it.
It is our golden ticket.
And while we do have it, we owe it to them to keep an eye on how our freedom is affecting their plight too.
